Four years ago, Roger J. Carter made his mark on Chicago’s art scene with Unapologetic, a striking solo exhibition in Pilsen curated by Artist Replete. Showcasing his now signature toy soldier portraits, the debut captivated audiences and cemented Carter as a bold new voice in contemporary art. The overwhelming response sparked a surge of commissions, keeping his studio in constant motion.

 

Today, Carter commands the spotlight once again with Unapologetic 2 in downtown Chicago. Expanding beyond his original medium, this new body of work pushes creative boundaries while honoring the vision that started it all.
