Vini Meio creates one-of-a-kind works that blur the boundary between painting, object, and illusion. Each piece is built by hand, shaped by the image itself, and finished as a singular object that cannot be replicated. Commissions are developed collaboratively and created exclusively for you.
How the Commission Process Works
1. Choose a general size range
Rather than fixed dimensions, commissions are created within flexible size categories. This allows the work to develop organically while staying aligned with your space.
Small — intimate, wall-friendly works (roughly 18–24 inches on the longest side)
Medium — statement pieces suited for most residential spaces (roughly 24–36 inches)
Large — bold focal works designed to anchor a room (roughly 36–48 inches)
Extra Large — immersive, sculptural wall works (48 inches and above)
Exact dimensions are discussed and finalized during the consultation phase.
2. Share your inspiration
You may provide a portrait, reference image, or general idea that inspires you. This serves as a starting point rather than a strict blueprint, allowing the work to remain expressive and original. If you prefer, Artist Replete can also guide you through this step. Once details are confirmed and the commission is placed, Vini begins the creation process.
3. Creation & timeline
Once details are confirmed and the commission is placed, Vini begins the creation process.Estimated completion time: Typically 8–12 weeks, depending on size, complexity, and current studio workload. Because each piece is handmade and sculptural in nature, timelines may vary slightly.
Why Commission with Artist Replete
Artist Replete works directly with Vini Meio to manage communication, timelines, and logistics ensuring a seamless experience from concept to delivery. We act as your liaison throughout the entire process.
Brazilian artist and designer Vini Meio, based in São Paulo, Brazil, blends his Okinawan heritage with the visual intensity of contemporary Brazilian life to create work that examines what it means to stay human in a digitally accelerated world. Moving between visual arts, design, and narrative driven critique, his imagery fuses bold color fields, layered textures, and graphic precision. The result is a body of work that mirrors the fractures of modern communication such as overlapping timelines, distorted memories, and identities reshaped by virtual environments.
Across series like Distortion, Vini explores how globalization, digital validation, and post modern fragmentation shape our relationships and our sense of self. His practice reinterprets enduring themes of memory, connection, and identity through the lens of the virtual age, creating images that feel both familiar and estranged. Each piece acts as a reflective surface that invites viewers to confront their own narratives and to recognize the subtle threads of humanity that persist beneath the noise of contemporary life.
