Virginie Gribouilli

Virginie Gribouilli is a contemporary French sculptor inspired by animal skeletons and mythological creatures. Her objective is to ground her style in the building of a new mythology in order to create hybrid deities for an imagined future civilization. She identifies with Fantastic Surrealism and Dark Art movements.

“Sculpture is a way for me to express myself, to convey my emotions and my thoughts about the world. My sensitivity is expressed through my work, and I love working with my hands.
