Artist Bio

Flor De Maria creates paintings that reveal the body through layered transparency, exposing light and structure beneath the surface. Rather than focusing on anatomy, the work explores vulnerability, identity, and emotional presence.

Her series Ethereal Truths presents the human form as both portrait and reflection, where the interior becomes calm, luminous, and composed. The paintings invite viewers to consider strength as openness and transformation as clarity.

Positioned between contemporary portraiture and symbolic realism, Flor De Maria’s work offers imagery that is intimate, contemplative, and quietly powerful.
