Created originally for an exhibition titled Heroes & Villains, the artist spent one month creating this piece. A photo of Superdawg Drive-In was taken and painted by hand with addition of the first Batmobile.
Danny Torres is a Chicago based artist with a love for street corners and small neighborhood businesses. His imagery blends realism with pop culture nostalgia and stems from person childhood memories. He defines his work as "Urban Mystique" and finds beauty in the "common and ordinary."
