Artist Replete presents Poder y Fuerza (translation: “Power and Strength”). In this striking work, Diske Uno portrays a figure caught mid-motion, wrapped in ceremonial dress and crowned with the head of a jaguar, a sacred animal long associated with protection, courage, and resilience in Mesoamerican tradition. The body leans back as if suspended in both dance and ascension, surrounded by drifting petals that soften the intensity of the form.

The intricate patterns stitched into the garments echo the handwoven textiles of indigenous ritual, grounding the figure’s ethereal movement in cultural memory. The jaguar mask transforms the dancer into something more than human, merging earthly tradition with mythic energy.
