Sofitel Magnificent Mile Unveils New Holiday Themed Project With Chicago Artist Rawooh

Sofitel Magnificent Mile Unveils New Holiday Themed Project With Artist Rawooh

In a partnership that began in 2019, the luxury resort, Sofitel, unveils its fourth installation by Chicago artist Rawooh. Pre-pandemic, the hotel seasonally exhibited mural work from the artist in a holiday theme and has resumed its creative branding, now that the restrictions from covid have eased.

During the summer, Rawooh created one of his most captivating works on the exterior glass of the hotel chain's Magnificent Mile location. Now, in anticipation of winter, Sofitel transformed its lobby decor with a Nutcracker Ballet motif. To accompany the updated entrance decor, the artist created a ballerina posing as if she just completed a masterful performance.

The artwork will be on display and open to the public throughout the coming winter months. Thoughts on this piece? Let us know in the comment section below.
