Artist Replete presents REIGN, created by Chicago artist Jenny Vyas for her 2025 solo exhibition Rupture, held in collaboration with the historic Chicago Athletic Association Hotel.

Through a delicate balance of strength and vulnerability, Reign embodies the emotional surrender that defines much of Vyas’ work. Layers of ink and acrylic form a luminous silhouette, while 24k gold leaf accents symbolize moments of self-realization and renewal.

Part of the Rupture collection, the piece continues Vyas’ exploration of transformation, where control softens, emotion rises, and the act of opening oneself becomes its own form of power.

Highly influenced by beauty in human emotions, Chicago artist Jenny Vyas reveals them through multiple expressions in her work. Her interest in human frailty is depicted in paintings where she creates abstracts of human silhouettes and fluctuating forms. All drawn from reality, personal experiences and memories.
