Diske Uno

Diske Uno is a Chicago-based artist and illustrator, originally from Culiacán, Sinaloa. His creative journey began in the streets of Mexico, where he first experimented with graffiti before evolving into a multidisciplinary urban artist.

By 2013, his practice expanded into large-scale murals, leaving a permanent mark on walls throughout Culiacán. Today his work can be found across Mexico and Chicago, weaving together cultural heritage with contemporary vision.

Diske’s style is defined by a vivid blend of realism and decorative symbolism, often drawing on indigenous traditions, sacred animals, and ceremonial motifs. Through this lens, he explores themes of ancestry, transformation, and spiritual connection. His vibrant compositions move seamlessly between public murals and intimate studio works, offering both community impact and collectible fine art.

His career has also brought collaborations with major brands such as Starbucks, Walmart, and others, extending his cultural narrative into broader platforms while staying rooted in the traditions that shaped him.
