Artist Replete presents "Lienzo" by Chicago based street artist Diske Uno. In Mexican culture, the deer is a symbol of great importance to the Huichol people, also known as the Wixárikas. The deer is considered a messenger between the gods and humans, and the first shaman.
Diske Uno is an urban artist and illustrator raised in Culiacán, Sinaloa. His passion for painting began at an early age on the streets of Mexico experimenting with graffiti.
In 2013 he started his evolution into an urban artist began as left his mark along many walls in Culiacán. The artist currently has murals throughout Mexico and Chicago. With a style rooted in the culture he grew up in, Diske has collaborated with brands like Starbucks, Walmart and many more.
