Artist Replete presents "Affinity of Valor" by Chicago based creative Jason Farley. From the artists newest series of work, depicting beauty with touches of surrealism. The artist spent over 140 hours during the creation of this piece.
" This piece I wanted to create a more masculine quality with each figure and subject matter as well as the color combination. I feel as though I create a lot of feminine work but that’s what I really enjoy doing because it does have a sense of balance as to the way I compose them.
I aspire all the time to have multiple categories of balance in my body of work. These pieces will constantly evolve within the design, subject matter, pigment and compositional elements. I think once reach 12 pieces of this newer work, I’ll stop counting and let it solidify my style and what I want to do from here on out with my art. "
Chicago based painter Jason Farley uses his military background to apply immense focus and dedication into the art he makes today. With collegiate credentials in both oil painting and illustration, Farley has devoted well over a decade of his life progressing his skillset as an artist.
His newest series of work, which requires the artist to spend nearly 100hrs on each piece, invites the viewer into a world of luxury, beauty, and romanticism.
