Roco Drilo is a self taught visual artist who was born in the city of Queretaro, Mexico. He began his career as a graphic and plastic artist in 2005. The influence found in his work derives from a love of 80’s pop culture, comics books, graffiti, and Mexico.
The artist generates a combination of colors, textures and shapes that evoke the traditional and cultural graphics of Mexican folk art with the added creation of characters blended with visual experiences.
He was is often created using digital illustration, watercolors, enamel, spray paint, and acrylic. Throughout his career thus far he’s participated in various exhibitions, along with cultural projects in Mexico and the U.S.A.
