Aire is a compact yet layered screen print by Roco Drilo, presented here as an Artist Proof (P/A). The composition features one of the artist’s signature hybrid figures, built from bold color fields, graphic patterning, and expressive line work that references Mexican folk imagery and contemporary illustration.
The work balances playful character design with symbolic details, inviting close viewing and repeated discovery. As an Artist Proof, this print was set aside from the standard edition and retained by the artist, making it a more personal and limited example of the work.

Roco Drilo is a self taught visual artist who was born in the city of Queretaro, Mexico. He began his career as a graphic and plastic artist in 2005. The influence found in his work derives from a love of 80’s pop culture, comics books, graffiti, and Mexico.
The artist generates a combination of colors, textures and shapes that evoke the traditional and cultural graphics of Mexican folk art with the added creation of characters blended with visual experiences.
He was is often created using digital illustration, watercolors, enamel, spray paint, and acrylic. Throughout his career thus far he’s participated in various exhibitions, along with cultural projects in Mexico and the U.S.A.
